Limited Lifetime Warranty

LO/MIT I/II™ Radiant Barrier provided by IES Radiant Barrier, Is guaranteed to not peel, flake, or loose effectiveness.

Who Is Covered and for How Long

Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. warrants to the original property owner/consumer that the application of LO/MIT radiant barrier will be applied to a minimum of 99% of reasonable assessable surface for a period of ninety days. Warranty coverage begins the day that the radiant barrier is installed.

Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. warrants to the property owner/consumer that the application of LO/MIT radiant barrier will be free from manufacturing defects, including peeling or flaking and that Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. will repair or replace, at its option, the radiant barrier proven to be defective under the terms of this warranty.

Transferability

This limited warranty may be transferred by the original property owner/consumer to the subsequent property owner.

Limitations

This warranty covers Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. products sold only in the United States of America, its territories and Canada.

This warranty does not provide protection against any failure, defect or damage caused by situations and events beyond normal exposure conditions, including but not limited to:

damage to or defects in its radiant barrier caused by settlement, movement, distortion, deterioration, cracking, or other failure of the roof deck or of the materials used as a base over which its radiant barrier is applied.
damage caused by structural changes, alterations or additions, or by the installation of equipment (such as ventilation, aerials, or air-conditioning equipment) to the structure after the radiant barrier has been applied.
stains or contamination to the radiant barrier arising from sources such as, but not limited to, water, mold or mildew growth, or paints, chemicals or other similar materials.
improper application or application not in accordance with the manufacture’s current written installation instructions.

Mold and mildew are functions of environmental conditions and are not manufacturing defects. As such, mold and mildew are not covered by this warranty or any implied warranty.

Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. reserves the right to discontinue or modify any of its products, including the color of the radiant barrier, and shall not be liable as a result of such discontinuance or modification, nor shall Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. be liable in the event replacement material varies in color in comparison to the original product. If Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. replaces any material under this warranty, it may substitute products designated by Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. to be of comparable quality or price range in the event the product initially installed has been discontinued or modified.

What the Customer Must Do

The property owner must promptly notify Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. in writing of any installation or manufacturing defect and provide proof of the date of purchase and date of application of the radiant barrier. Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. will then investigate the claim, and if a defect covered by this warranty is confirmed, Integrity Energy Systems, Inc within a reasonable amount of time after inspecting the radiant barrier, will repair or replace the radiant barrier or reimburse the property owner the appropriate amount for the repair or replacement of the radiant barrier under the terms of the warranty.

Warranty Registration (not required)

This warranty replaces all other oral or written warranties, liabilities or obligations of Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. Applicable state law will determine the period of time following the sale that a property owner/consumer may seek a remedy under the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. be liable for consequential or incidental damages of any kind, including any damage to the building, its contents or any persons therein, resulting from the breach of this warranty. No field representative, distributor or dealer of Integrity Energy Systems, Inc. is authorized to change or modify this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
